Jake
turned the corner and slowly walked to the gate to Booker-T's yard.
As he went through the gate, Booker-T came running to meet him in the
front.
“Hi Jake,”
greeted Booker-T.
“Hi
Booker-T,” smiled Jake. “Do you know if Midge came home yet?”
“I heard
the car over there last night,” said Booker-T. “Lets walk over
there and see if she his home. If she is home, the doggie door will
be open and we can peak inside if she is not outside.”
“Okay,”
agreed Jake.
The two
walked to Midge's yard and entered through the gate to the yard. “I
think she is here,” said Jake.
“How do
you know?” asked Booker-T. “I haven't seen her.”
