New Show in Town

Midge and Jake strolled along the sidewalk to Jake's house. Along the way, they say them setting up a stage at the place where the circus always performed.
“What are they doing?” asked Booker-T.
“I don't know,” said Midge. “Lets see what that sign over there says.”
They walked to the sign that was posted near the corner of the lot. Midge read it but didn't understand what it was saying. She never heard of it before.
“What is that saying?” asked Booker-T.
“I'm not sure,” said Midge. “I never heard of it before. Maybe Jake knows what it is. They are going to do something here tomorrow night.”
“Lets go to get Jake,” said Booker-T.

The Sun Disappeared

Midge and Booker-T were walking to Jake's house when suddenly everything went dark. “What happened?” said Midge.
“I don't know,” said Booker-T. “Where did the sun go?”
“Jake!” called Midge and Booker-T as they ran through the gate at his house. “Jake! Where are you ?”
“Slow down Midge,” said Jake as he sat up in the swing. “What is the problem?”
“Jake,” said Midge. “Someone turned off the sun!”
“It is the space aliens,” said Booker-T, “I think they turned off the sun.”
“What space aliens?” asked Jake.
“It must be space aliens,” said Midge. “Who else would turn off the sun.”

Midge is Home

Jake turned the corner and slowly walked to the gate to Booker-T's yard. As he went through the gate, Booker-T came running to meet him in the front.
“Hi Jake,” greeted Booker-T.
“Hi Booker-T,” smiled Jake. “Do you know if Midge came home yet?”
“I heard the car over there last night,” said Booker-T. “Lets walk over there and see if she his home. If she is home, the doggie door will be open and we can peak inside if she is not outside.”
“Okay,” agreed Jake.
The two walked to Midge's yard and entered through the gate to the yard. “I think she is here,” said Jake.
“How do you know?” asked Booker-T. “I haven't seen her.”

Missing Midge

Jake and Booker-T were sitting in Booker-T's front yard waiting to see if Midge comes home.
“I don't think she is come back home today,” sighed Booker-T.
“It sure don't look like she will be here today,” agreed Jake. “Maybe I better go home before my owner gets home from work. I will come back in the morning.”
“Okay Jake,” said Booker-T.
Booker-T walked to the gate with Jake and watched him walk quickly up the sidewalk going home. He turned the corner when Booker-T saw a car come around the other corner that looked like it belonged to the owner of Midge. He stood at the gate of the yard and watched as the car came along the road. It passed on by and Booker-T had a sad look on his face when he realized it wasn't Midge.
I wonder where you are my friend,” thought Booker-T as he turned to walk back to the front porch.
Jake and I are missing you. You have never been gone this long before.”
