Waiting For the Snow

Booker-T and Midge walked along the sidewalk to Jake's house. They strolled through the gate and found Jake sleeping on the porch swing. Behind him came Lucy wearing a pretty pink bow on her head with her pretty pink sweater.

Hi Lucy,” smiled Midge. “I like your new sweater with the pretty pink bow.”

Merry Christmas Everyone

Jake and Lucy walked along the sidewalk on their way to Midge's house. As they past Booker-T's gate to his front yard, they saw him come running around the house to join them.

Good morning,” smiled Booker-T. “Are you coming to see Midge's pretend tree?”

Yes,” replied Jake.

We want to see what a pretend tree looks like,” said Lucy.

The Pretend Tree

Midge ran outside and out the front gate and hurried inside the yard next door looking for Booker-T. As she ran around the house, she ran into Booker-T's head.

Ouch!” said Booker-T as he sat down. “Wow you were running fast.”

Sorry Booker-T,” said Midge. “I didn't know you were coming around the corner. Is your head okay?”

I think so,” said Booker-T shaking his head as he stood back up. Why are you running so fast?”

I was coming to get you,” said Midge.

Are we in a hurry today?” asked Booker-T.

The Park is Busy

They ran to the train and jumped into the back car when it stopped at the station and big humans got off the train and walked to the where the little humans were playing ball. A big human and a small human got on the train in the car in front of the one where the animals were sitting.

Look at the animals, mom,” said the little humans. “They are riding the train.”

Isn't that cute,” smiled the big human as she turned to look toward the front of the train. “Maybe their owners are riding the train also.”

Here doggie doggie,” said the little human as he stuck out his hand toward the animals.

The Missing Wagon

Hey Midge!” called Booker-T as he ran into Midge's yard and around to the back door where he crawled into the house through the doggie door. “Where are you?”

Hi there Booker-T,” smiled Midge as she entered the kitchen. “What are you doing?”

I came to see what you are going,” said Booker-T. “What are we going to do today?”

Well,” said Midge, ”I don't know. Think we need to ask Jake what he wants to do and maybe Lucy.”

You don't have an idea!” said Booker-T. “Wow, Midge don't have an idea yet.”
