Strange Vehicle

The three friends hurried along the sidewalk to the site of the new community pool. When they reached the place, they found a huge fence around the place. They walked round the fence looking for a hole that they could see inside from.
“Jake, there's no pool here and look,” said Midge. “There is no building with an inside pool either. I really wanted to go swimming.”
“What does the sign say Jake?” asked Booker-T.
“It says the pool and building will be ready in June,” said Jake. “They just started to build it Midge.”
“I thought it was ready,” said Midge as she peaked through the hole in the fence. “Look at that big hole in the ground.”

The Bull Fight

Midge and Booker-T slowly walked along the sidewalk on their way to Jake's house.
“What are we going to do today Midge?” asked Booker-T.
“I want to check out that community pool,” replied Midge.
“Why?” asked Booker-T.
“I want to swim in the pool,” said Midge.
“It's too cold right now to swim,” said Booker-T. “It's winter time, remember.”
“I know,” said Midge. “I think Jake read on the sign that it will have an outside pool and an inside heated pool for winter.”
“But no dogs are allowed inside,” said Booker-T.

The Resolution

Jake met Booker-T on his way to Midge's house. “Hey Booker-T!” called Jake.
“Hi Jake,” greeted Booker-T as he came running from the back of the house. “What are you doing?”
“I want to visit Snappy,” said Jake. “And of course Midge.”
“Me too,” said Booker-t. “I'll go with you.”
The two of them walked the short distance to Midge's house and hurried through the gate.
“Hey Midge,” called Jake. “What are you doing?”
“It's the new year and I'm trying to decide what I want to do,” said Midge. “We need a resolution.”
“We need a what?” asked Jake.
“Why do we want a revolution?” asked Booker-T.

Bungee Jumping

Jake was sitting on his front porch swing watching the kids riding their new bikes up and down the road. Midge and Booker-T entered the yard and went to the porch.
“Hi Jake,” greeted Midge as she sat down on the ground in front of the porch. “What are you doing?”
“Hi Midge, Booker-T,” said Jake.
“Hi Jake,” smiled Booker-T.
“I was watching all the kids riding around on their new bikes they got for Christmas,” said Jake.   "There sure are a lot of them today.  Nice they can ride with no snow on the ground."
“Lot of kids on our street got new bikes too,” said Midge.
“Christmas is over and now we are starting a new year,” said Jake. "The year went by so fast Midge."
“Remember all the fun we had this past year?” asked Booker-T.
“Oh yes,” smiled Midge. “I'm ready for some new adventures and maybe try some of the old ones again.”
“What kind of new things you want to do?” asked Jake.
